NExT DI Team Manager Training

The NExT Team Manager training takes place in October and November.  If you missed it or would like to review some of the materials, see the links at the bottom of this page.

TEAM MANAGER training will be offered at the Fall Workshops on December 5th for competitive teams, and on December 6th for Rising Stars Teams.  This is a great opportunity to get additional training.

Monday, October 12th at Bowman Middle School, 2501 Jupiter Rd, Plano, TX 75074 -- Get Map.

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm -- New Team Manager Training – overview of DI, deadlines, forms, events, resources, and tournament

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm -- Rising Stars! Team Manager Training – overview of DI, this years forms, events, resources, tournament, and challenge

7:30 pm to 8:30 pm – Experienced competitive Team Manager Training – forms, events, resources, everything that is different this year, interference, and TM sharing

8:30pm to 9:30 pm – All competitive Team Managers meet with their Challenge Master – it would be good to know which challenge you are doing

Thursday, October 22nd at Bowman Middle School, 2501 Jupiter Rd, Plano, TX 75074 -- Get Map. . (This is a repeat of the Oct 12th training – you should only plan on attending one of these)

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm -- New Team Manager Training – overview of DI, deadlines, forms, events, resources, tournament, and t-shirts pickup

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm -- Rising Stars! Team Manager Training – overview of DI, this years forms, events, resources, tournament, and challenge

7:30 pm to 8:30 pm – Experienced competitive Team Manager Training – forms, events, resources, everything that is different this year, interference, and TM sharing

8:30pm to 9:30 pm – All competitive Team Managers meet with their Challenge Master – it would be good to know which challenge you are doing

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm – Rising Stars! Team Manager Training on Instant Challenge – overview of IC, examples, events, deadlines, resources, and tournament

7:00 pm – 9:00 pm -- Competitive Team Manager Training on Instant Challenge – overview of IC, examples, scoring, events, deadlines, resources, and tournament

We expanded and added a training on this date to include for all team managers the training below.  The following training will be offered as well as a chance to get your registrations in and buy and take home your t-shirts.

  1. Team Manager training on Instant Challenge will follow our board meeting at 7:00 pm until about 9 pm
  2. Rising Stars Team Manager training on Instant Challenge at 7:00 pm until about 8:30 pm 
  3. New Team Manager Training at 7 pm (This is new and has been added)
  4. New Rising Stars Team Manager Training at 7 pm (This is new and has been added)
  5. New Team Manager Awareness meeting (This is new and has been added)
  6. T-shirt sales and pick up and Pin orders taken
  7. Registration Forms can be turned in:
    1. Regional Tournament (Event on Feb 27th)
    2. Fall Workshop for Teams (Event on Dec 5th)
    3. Fall Workshop for Rising Stars Teams (Event on Dec 6th)
    4. Instant Challenge Festival (Event on Jan 30th)
    5. Instant Challenge Festival for Rising Stars (Event on Jan 30th)
    6. Instant Challenge Scrimmage (event on Feb 13th)

No registration is required to attend.  All Team Managers, Assistant Team Managers, and prospective TMs and ATMs should attend.  DI Coordinators are also welcome to attend any Team Manager Training session.  Please bookmark and check out often the NExT Region web site at www.next.texasdi.org
